Join the talented team at CLEAR as a structural engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing a variety of structures, ensuring that they are safe, functional, and compliant with regulatory standards. You will work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality structural solutions for diverse projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and perform structural analysis and design calculations for various types of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
  • Create detailed structural drawings and specifications using industry-standard design software.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Review and approve project drawings and documentation for compliance with local codes and standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to design specifications.
  • Provide technical support during construction and resolve on-site engineering challenges.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide innovative solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and codes to enhance design practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering; master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in design and analysis.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Good background of materials procurement in GCC countries specifically in Saudi Arabia.
  • Capable of recommending their disciplines’ products for both exterior and interior application.
  • Specifications, international and local codes and standards. Knowledge of building codes and standards is a must.
  • Proficiency in software: tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
  • Competent for inspecting and supervising all their disciplines’ related site works.
  • Liaise with the local municipality and relevant authorities.

Technical skills:

  • Strong proficiency in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro).
  • Experience with Revit or other BIM software is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of building codes and engineering principles.
