Structural Engineer

Join the talented team at CLEAR as a structural engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing a variety of structures, ensuring that they are safe, functional, and compliant with regulatory standards. You will work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality structural solutions for diverse projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and perform structural analysis and design calculations for various types of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
- Create detailed structural drawings and specifications using industry-standard design software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Review and approve project drawings and documentation for compliance with local codes and standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to design specifications.
- Provide technical support during construction and resolve on-site engineering challenges.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and codes to enhance design practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering; master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in design and analysis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
- Good background of materials procurement in GCC countries specifically in Saudi Arabia.
- Capable of recommending their disciplines’ products for both exterior and interior application.
- Specifications, international and local codes and standards. Knowledge of building codes and standards is a must.
- Proficiency in software: tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
- Competent for inspecting and supervising all their disciplines’ related site works.
- Liaise with the local municipality and relevant authorities.
Technical skills:
- Strong proficiency in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro).
- Experience with Revit or other BIM software is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of building codes and engineering principles.
