Student Assistant, Communications & Marketing

We're looking for a curious, self-driven, and creative student to join our small Communications Team at Health Tech Hub Copenhagen. You'll take a hands-on role in shaping how we tell stories about health tech innovation — from newsletters and articles to visual content and the new website we're currently building. Because we're a small team, this role comes with real responsibility from day one. If you're the kind of person who spots opportunities and runs with them, you'll find plenty of room to grow — and to shape how we work.

Who you are:

  • Currently a student, ideally within communications, marketing, design, journalism, or a related field

  • A strong writer in English (Danish is a plus)

  • Self-driven and proactive — you don't wait to be told what to do next

  • Curious about health tech and comfortable finding stories worth telling

  • A good eye for visual communication (experience with tools like Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus)

  • Comfortable working autonomously in a small team

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with WordPress — we're building a new website and would welcome the extra hands

  • Video content creation skills, for member communications, social, and marketing

  • An interest in innovation, health, and healthcare

What you'll do:

  • Write and craft content — newsletters, articles, member stories, LinkedIn posts, and more

  • Find good stories across our member community and the wider ecosystem, from interviews to insights worth sharing

  • Support our marketing across channels: LinkedIn, email, the website, and more

  • Create visuals and short video content for social and member communications

  • Occasionally support events during peak periods (not the primary task, but part of the mix when we need extra hands)

What you'll gain:

  • Real responsibility from day one, with room to grow into projects you own

  • Hands-on experience across communication, content, marketing, and community engagement

  • A front-row seat to the stories shaping health tech innovation in Denmark and beyond

  • The chance to contribute to a mission-driven team working to improve health through technology and collaboration

The practical bits:

  • 15–20 hours a week, with flexibility during exams

  • Start as soon as possible, for a minimum of one year

  • Based in Copenhagen, with flexibility to work remotely when needed

  • A fun, informal work environment with perks like healthy lunches, team days, free coffee, and more

Health Tech Hub Copenhagen is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply. We appreciate all applications, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
