Responsibilities include:

• Effective communication with families and co-teachers.
  
  

• Ability to adhere to licensing and NAEYC guidelines.
  
  

• Effective written communication skills.
  
  

• Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience working with young children in an early childhood, preschool, childcare, or educational setting preferred.

• Coursework or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field is preferred.

• Must demonstrate an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for young children.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to establish warm, positive relationships with children.

• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and able to adapt to changing classroom needs.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative teaching team.
