D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern Intern. The internship program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to career opportunities within D.R. Horton, its affiliated business functions, and the homebuilding and homebuying process. Interns are assigned to a primary department or functional area and gain experience through departmental rotations, project work, administrative support, research, reporting, training, office and field-based activities, jobsite observation, systems support, and other learning opportunities based on departmental needs, location, and business priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, jobsite, or business function

  • Assist with department-specific projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, coordination efforts, systems, processes, and other business needs assigned

  • Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, industry terminology, business systems, company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures

  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to gain an understanding of how various areas of the Company support homebuilding, homebuying, business operations, and the overall customer experience

  • Participate in training programs, meetings, departmental rotations, and other learning opportunities designed to enhance knowledge of the Company, assigned function, and potential career paths

  • Explore career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses that may lead to future full-time employment following graduation

  • Conduct all business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner that supports customers and contributes to the Company's reputation and success

  • Ability to work overtime

  • Ability to travel including occasional overnight travel, as business needs require
