KBR is looking for a Superintendent Commissioning Telecom with onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.

Experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a must. Candidates should have a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in the commissioning and operation readiness position, with experience in the GCC region preferred. Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with preference given to commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, and hydrodesulfurization projects.

The sales gas and condensate commissioning lead shall provide guidance to his commissioning team, EPC contractor, and sub-contractors within his area of responsibility.

Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities in accordance with licensors’ and vendors’ guiding procedures.

Responsible for the progress of commissioning activities in the sales gas and condensate area.

Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures. Provide the required advice and support for the senior commissioning manager.

Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC contractors or vendors. Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.

Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings. Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.

Verify the readiness of systems and subsystems for mechanical completion and ready for start-up certificates issuance.

Monitor and approve the closeout of punch lists in his area to ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
