Summary
Supervises marine technicians performing electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance on vessels or in workshops, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
Supervision: Lead technicians in daily, on-board, or workshop electrical tasks, overseeing repairs, installation, cabling, and termination.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex electrical, electronic, and control circuitry, including generators and switchgear.
Technical Compliance: Ensure work meets technical specifications, safety standards, and Class society requirements.
Inspection & Testing: Use testing devices (multimeters, insulation testers) to verify circuits and perform QC inspections.
Project Management: Coordinate manpower, manage resources to minimize waste, and prepare work completion reports.
Safety Adherence: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations (lockout/tagout, risk assessments)
