Supervisor, Electric, Gas Distribution Quality Control and Inspection - TJC

Primary Purpose
Supervises a team performing inspection and quality control tasks to deliver safe, consistent execution of the inspection plan. Oversees daily schedules, coaching, and quality checks to meet operational targets and compliance expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assigns daily work, confirms resource readiness and access, and monitors progress to plan.
• Conducts safety briefings and documents observations; verifies protective measures are in place.
• Reviews inspection results for completeness and accuracy; initiates rechecks when needed.
• Provides real‑time coaching and resolves minor conflicts or access barriers.
• Tracks productivity and defect closure actions; removes obstacles to timely repairs.
• Ensures proper use, care, and calibration of instruments, vehicles, and evidence handling.
• Communicates short status updates and escalations to the manager; logs exceptions.
• Supports hiring, onboarding, and skill assessments; maintains training records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
