Supervisor, Facilities Management - Visalia/Bakersfield - V Assignment

Primary Purpose
Provides front‑line leadership over facilities operations staff responsible for maintaining safe, functional, and well‑maintained workplaces. Ensures daily service delivery is executed in accordance with schedules, safety requirements, and service expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises facilities staff and oversees contractor and vendor deliverables (e.g., building engineer work, custodial and workplace services) according to performance measures.
• Assigns daily work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and service requests; monitors completion and quality of work.
• Performs regular walkthroughs of facilities to identify maintenance, safety, or service issues requiring action.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures, lock‑out procedures, hazard communication, and emergency response protocols.
• Coordinates contractor access, escorts, and permits for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Responds to real‑time operational issues such as equipment failures, environmental complaints, or access disruptions.
• Provides hands‑on coaching, instruction, and corrective feedback to staff on work execution.
• Documents work completion, incidents, and corrective actions in facilities systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
