Supervisor, Gas Distribution Construction and/or Maintenance - DOT (V-Assignment)

This position is limited to employees who are in the Customer Service and Gas Operations / Distribution divisions.

Primary Purpose
Oversees daily field operations for gas distribution construction and maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Coordinates resources and supports team performance to achieve operational goals and timely project delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance on emergency response protocol and construction work to ensure safe and reliable gas delivery to customers.
• Ensures adherence to labor agreements, vendor contracts, customer commitments, and regulatory standards.
• Improves team-level field practices by refining processes to enhance gas network safety, customer service, and construction efficiency.
• Ensures adherence to quality assurance procedures including weld inspections, pressure tests, and material traceability.
• Manages and monitors gas main encroachment databases to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Benchmarks internal performance against peer utilities and industry best practices to identify improvement opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
