Supervisor, Member Payment

General Purpose

Supervise a team that is responsible for milk check payments to producers/members. Review member payment processes to ensure timely and accurate payments to members and affiliated cooperatives. Provide support for Northeast Area accounting, member payments, membership, sales and other staff in their delivery of services to members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the member payment team. Conduct regular training and development activities to enhance their personal growth, job satisfaction, and the team’s ability to provide a high level of service.
• Service as an escalation resource for staff; assist members and customers to provide the best service possible.
• Responsible for overseeing and approving calculations for all member adjustments.
• Provide oversight of the pricing input sheet for the advance and final for all payrolls. Verify the accuracy of prices.
• Review various calculations including PMB rate, PMB premium, Maine class 1 premium and MA audit adjustments.
• Assist with work surrounding the Northeast Council’s equity program, including estate payment requests, equity transfers and combinations and the annual age 67 program.
• Perform assigned accounting duties as directed by accounting.
• Assist member services staff by responding to various requests and projects.
• Lead special project initiatives within the department .
