What Will I be Doing?
Supervise the Safety and Security Department and all Safety and Security Associates and contractors. Provides a safe and secure environment/property for all of our team members and visitors. Commitment and dedication to our culture and the Hilton Values is an expected behavior to be displayed towards our team members and visitors at all times.
- Supervise and schedule Safety and Security Associates, providing direction and equipment needed to accomplish their duties.
- Respond to security incidents and accidents, and completes required reports to include statements from involved parties, including
witnesses.
- Assist with training of all Safety and Security staff members on emergency fire procedures, lock system operation, response to all security incidents and accidents, use of force, video camera operation, and fundamental escort procedures.
- Administer basic First Aid and CPR when needed.
- Provide and assist with training of office staff in basic First Aid and CPR, and in evacuation, fire, and disaster procedures for the
property.
- Adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the company.
- Maintain key control for the property.
- Help direct/supervise safety programs and committees.
- Deter and prevent employee theft by maintaining and developing policies and procedures, ensuring these guidelines are enforced.
- Complete daily security reports for the Safety and Security Director
- Ensure overall compliance of OSHA rules and regulations.
- Maintain proper SDS labeling and records.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by HGVC from time to time, is essential
to the successful performance of this position.
- Carries out reasonable requests of management.
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High School/GED Diploma
Possesses and apply a comprehensive knowledge of security practices and procedures for the planning, management and completion of multiple and complex assignments.
Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills.
Previous security, law enforcement or military
- Associate's Degree/College Diploma/Cepeg
Prior exp in a hotel/hospitality environment a plus.
