Position Overview
This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating warehouse operations related to storage, inventory, and product distribution. The role ensures efficient movement of materials while maintaining safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This position works closely with internal teams and external partners to support logistics operations and meet delivery requirements. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
· Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing inspecting and shipment of products or materials· Plan, develop, and implement warehouse safety and security programs· Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated· Schedule and monitor surface pickup, drivers, delivery or distribution of product· Respond to customer questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution process· Confer and interface with other departments to meet specific customer needs· Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated· Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets and equipment, maintenance, repair, or replacement as necessary· Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services· Track and trace customer requests· Negotiate with carriers, warehouse operators representatives for services and competitive rates· Arrange for off site storage facilities when required

Qualifications
· Should have knowledge of shipping principles, freight rates, local and national carriers, laws, rules and regulations as they relate to area, inventory procedures, billing procedures
