Supervisory Airfield Operations Specialist

About the Position: Serves as Biggs Army Airfield (BAAF) Operations Manager with responsibilities for managing, organizing, planning, coordinating and directing BAAF Airfield Operations Branch.

Incumbent will be the Biggs Army Airfield point of contact for all matters within the scope of AR 95-2.

Interprets guidelines provided by this installation and higher headquarters, assesses the airfield mission requirements, establishes the local command goals and makes recommendations on how to accomplish these objectives.

Supervises a staff of civilian employees and assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees

Maintains a Program of Instruction (POI) for employees, ensuring current and standardized training for employees.

Maintain liaison with local FAA or host government agencies. In coordination with the Airfield Manager and Air Traffic Facility Chief
