Summary
Supervises a team of IT security specialists, plans schedules, assigns tasks, and ensures compliance with security controls for Navy systems and networks.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Operations Division, Navy Authorizing Directorate at U.S. Fleet Cyber Command in Suffolk, VA.
You will plan work schedules and sequences of operations for assigned personnel.
You will ensure employees understand functional responsibilities and project assignments, including deadlines, and available resources.
You will inform higher level supervisors of anticipated vacancies, increases in workload,, or other circumstances requiring replacement or additional staff.
You will define performance appraisal objectives for civilian and military employees and submit to Rating Official for endorsement.
You will assign responsibilities to project teams per priority and knowledge of Navy IT project schedules.
You will monitor the status and progress of projects in meeting defined deadlines and quality standards.
You will provide final comprehensive assessment of the accuracy and completeness of risk management analyses and findings.
You will serve as a senior representative for customer management-level colleagues throughout the project life cycle to discuss and address issues requiring resolution at this level.
You will integrate the teams analysis to secure, defend, and preserve data, networks, net-centric capabilities, and other designated systems by ensuring appropriate security controls and measures are in place.
You will assess, define, and contribute to subordinate teams’ collective lessons learned and cumulative performance metrics.
