Supervisory Program Analyst - Health Care Contract Management

Summary

Supervises a team managing healthcare contracts for the Veterans Health Administration, ensuring compliance and performance targets are met.

This Supervisory Program Analyst position will serve as a Regional Officer within their respective business line for the Contracts Management and Performance (CMP) Directorate of Integrated External Networks (IEN), providing the full range of technical and administrative supervision in directing a contract administration branch. This position can be located in either Lakewood, CO., Washington, DC. or Location Negotiable to be discussed during the interview.

***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Contract Management (75%) Relied upon by Director to provide expert advice and analysis of all Community Care contract activities. Works with all IVC Directorates to ensure contract administration, systems design and functionality, and data analyses meet customer needs and production targets. Develops, maintains, and executes assigned tasks within assessment and analysis projects. These include, but are not limited to, use of automated project planning and appraisal tools and preparation of tasks/assignments and workflows with associated documentation for proposed development, deployment, and performance. Develop business strategies that include current community care programs, associated systems, and future community care initiatives. Supervision (25%) Serves as a specialist for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of specified projects for the organization. Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, set- up, and reporting of mission projects. Conducts analysis of business systems to help determine nature of requirements, logical work and information flows, and track execution of programmatic objectives for short- and long-range plans. Provides expertise on management concepts, principles, analytical and evaluative methods, and practices. Provides technical support and staff assistance and determines the number of personnel required to successfully accomplish project requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.
