Supply Chain Specialist [up to $4,500 | Procurement]

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly procurement planning for Japanese matcha across markets and sales channels using historical demand data, supplier lead times, and minimum order quantities.
• Monitor supplier-held inventory against committed demand and identify potential shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with Ecommerce teams to ensure sufficient inventory availability for upcoming campaigns and promotions.
• Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory records for matcha, accessories, and packaging materials.
• Track inbound shipments across Japan, China, Singapore, and the US, ensuring timely delivery and resolving shipment discrepancies.
• Reconcile supplier balances, payments, and inventory records against internal systems on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and publish weekly supply chain reports covering inventory, open orders, and operational KPIs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for the Singapore warehouse, including inbound, outbound, return, sample, and giveaway transactions.
• Conduct monthly packaging label and compliance audits against approved regulatory specifications and escalate discrepancies for review.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, B2B, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Finance teams to improve operational processes, reporting, and documentation.
• Support logistics operations, reimbursement claims, compliance matters, and other supply chain activities as required.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, forecasting, inventory planning, or vendor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in inventory control, shipment tracking, procurement processes, and supply chain reporting.
• Power BI knowledge is an added advantage.
• Programming skills (VBA, SQL) are an added advantage.
• SAP experience is an added advantage.
