SUPV IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (APPSW)

Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information.

Serves as supervisor, responsible for planning, direction, and reviewing the work of 5 to 15 IT Specialists who perform work such as computer systems analysis and design.

Makes changes in organization of work or assignment of functions to improve workflow and services, promote job satisfaction, and increase productivity.

Formulates and issues written instructions, procedures, and special instructions for non-routine or complex assignments.

Prepare form request for filling vacancies or for additional personnel to meet workload requirements.

Formulates training plans for assigned employees; conducts informal training to broaden employee skills in addition to more formal training when need is apparent.
