Job Summary:
- Work as a cohesive member of the surgical team.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
- Must have knowledge of a vast number of surgical procedures and the steps the surgeon needs to take in order to complete the procedure, including the very wide range of surgical instruments they may need.
- Utilize instruments, medications, and other supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
- Perform basic tasks such as transporting patients and checking patients' medical charts and consent forms.
- Possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques.
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
