Surgical Technician Full Time Day

Surgical Technician at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Performs a variety of technical duties to scrub in surgery. Prepares operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate techniques. The Surgical Technologist performs specific duties while covering for Surgical Tech on break which include but are not limited to: provide active coverage, continue assisting surgeon during operation within the surgical technologist scope of practice, prepares rooms, assists the surgical team during operative procedures, assists in cleaning and preparing the room between procedures, maintains aseptic technique. Provides technical services and assists in operating room as assigned and directed.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
• 2 years of Scrub experience in at least one advanced specialty (cardiovascular, orthopedics, etc.).
