Surveillance Manager
The Casino Surveillance Manager is responsible for overseeing the surveillance operations of the casino to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and company policies. This role utilizes advanced surveillance systems to monitor, detect, and document activities to protect company assets, maintain the integrity of gaming operations, and ensure the safety and security of guests and team members.
The Surveillance Manager leads and develops a team of surveillance professionals, ensuring effective monitoring of all casino areas and timely reporting of incidents. This position collaborates closely with Security, Compliance, and Operations teams to support investigations, enforce procedures, and maintain a secure and compliant gaming environment.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage complex operations within a highly regulated, 24/7 casino environment
Inform appropriate leadership and regulators of all activities involving violations of Internal Controls, Gaming Regulations, Company policies and procedures, and any theft/embezzlement by employees or guests
Formulate, direct and participate in the development and implementation of goals and objectives for the surveillance department
Review and evaluate daily shift reports and incident reports, investigate and take the appropriate action
Perform video reviews for various departments as requested
Research new technology or methods to improve surveillance efficiency
Drives improved results through staff development and training programs, and established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high-quality service, then monitors results through inspection, evaluation and analysis. Make changes if necessary to achieve end result.
Responsible for ensuring optimal operations and consistent high-quality standards in areas of responsibility during all business hours.
Responsible for overall department budgets, profit and loss statements, cost analysis, labor analysis, planning and promotions
Management accountability for all team members for day to day and long term operations to include hiring, training and developing employees, which includes coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation
Responsible for the overall integrity of daily operations, ensures compliance and training with all regulatory, internal control, and associated policies and procedures
Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.
Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies
Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks

Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct
Ability to prepare, understand, and analyze business strategies, Budget & P&L Statements and Business Plans.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written
- Proficient Microsoft Office programs to include, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- High School Diploma or GED Required, Post secondary college a plus
- Good written and oral communication skills including having tact when dealing with difficult customers
- Extensive knowledge of Casino games, regulations and game protection
- Prior Casino Leadership experience required
- Knowledge of investigative procedures and techniques

- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
- Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
