Survey Design and Implementation Specialist

Salary range: $3,800 – $4,200
Contract duration: 6 months + 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop survey questionnaires that support public information needs and organizational strategic outcomes.
  • Understand questionnaire flow and translate survey requirements into intuitive, user-friendly survey interfaces.
  • Configure surveys within the survey platform by creating questions, skip logic, branching, validation rules, error prompts, and survey flow.
  • Conceptualize and design respondent-centric questionnaires that maximize engagement, usability, and data quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system modifications.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the survey.
  • Manage surveys independently throughout the entire survey lifecycle, from design to deployment and post-launch support.
  • Monitor live survey performance and identify issues affecting data quality or respondent experience.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate resolutions with relevant stakeholders, and follow up until closure.
  • Continuously monitor survey delivery and recommend improvements to enhance response accuracy and survey effectiveness.
  • Ideate and implement agentic and AI workflows for enhanced data collection
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, design, implementation, and delivery of survey projects, ensuring timely execution, quality outcomes, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the project lead by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, resolving risks and issues, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. statistics, economics, social science, data science, information systems, or a related disciplines).
  • Experience in survey design, research methodology, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong ability to engage stakeholders, clarify requirements, and translate them into practical survey designs.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or generative AI applications.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
