SVP, Marketing
General Summary:
The SVP, Product Marketing position reports to the Chief Digital Officer. He/She is responsible for unifying Data Axle's product marketing strategy, GTM process, and execution for business units. The SVP, Product Marketing combines business requirements and feedback from sales, marketing, engineering/development, customers and prospects to set the strategic content and communications of existing or new features, products, solutions, and/or packaging.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design and implement the product marketing strategy, process and content for the Enterprise and Non-for-Profit business units within the company.
- Lead GTM process and associated output for key/prioritized products/solutions.
- Confer and partner with other senior executives to set Company strategies and objectives that will facilitate the achievement of organizational missions and values.
- Champion the product alliance efforts to ensure the business development efforts maximize profitable growth, development and market share consistent with strategic objectives.
- Assess and unify all product marketing platforms including, but not limited to, HighSpot, Salesforce, RFPio, MS Teams, etc.
- Develop and maintain competitive product/industry research and ongoing communications to executive management, product, marketing, sales, client services and consulting teams.
- Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features on the company roadmap.
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ Product Marketing and Sales Engineer resources.
- Develop and execute on weekly/monthly reporting dashboards for agency revenue, sales pipeline, team utilization and other mission critical KPI's, working with Finance

General Summary:
The SVP, Marketing is responsible for leading corporate marketing initiatives, including brand strategy, market positioning, and demand generation, while overseeing all marketing and product marketing efforts for Data Axle’s Enterprise Business Unit. Additionally, this role provides marketing services to Data Axle’s other business units as needed. The SVP, Marketing also leads the development and execution of a unified product marketing strategy for Enterprise-specific and shared products, services, and solutions, ensuring alignment and impact across business units through a structured go-to-market (GTM) process.
Essential Job Functions:
Corporate/Brand Marketing
- Develop and maintain Data Axle corporate positioning, value propositions, visual identity, and creative execution, ensuring consistency across all business units.
- Own Enterprise business unit specific branding and marketing activities from conception to execution and optimization.
- Own the strategy, positioning, and ongoing management of the Corporate website, ensuring it effectively represents the company brand and Enterprise-specific messaging. Oversee updates and provide strategic guidance for the Data Axle Nonprofit website, ensuring alignment with nonprofit-specific brand guidelines.
- Develop and execute a social marketing strategy to promote Corporate brand awareness and messaging unique to specific Business Units and solutions. Support key executives’ social media presence to increase awareness.
- Own the event strategy and marketing approach for Data Axle Corporate and Enterprise Business Unit events including industry trade shows, webinars, podcasts, speaking engagements, and private events. Support execution of events and promotions for the Nonprofit division.
- Lead Data Axle’s demand generation, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and nurturing strategy and execution for Corporate and the Enterprise Business unit, integrating paid media, digital marketing, retargeting, and personalized campaigns to drive pipeline growth.
- Own the public relations strategy for Data Axle’s corporate brand and Enterprise BU, overseeing media relations, executive thought leadership, and press releases to enhance brand visibility and market positioning.
- Partner with senior executives to execute company strategic business objectives as necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry analysts (Forrester, Gartner, etc.) to enhance Data Axle’s market positioning, influence industry research, and ensure accurate representation in analyst reports and evaluations.
- Manage external partnerships with consultants and agencies as necessary to support growth objectives.
- Own the thought leadership content strategy, including newsletters, whitepapers, blog posts, bylined articles, case studies, and industry insights to drive awareness and position Data Axle as a market leader and drive brand credibility.
- Support development of presentations for Board-level, C-suite, and other high level engagements, ensuring clear, data-driven storytelling that reinforces company strategy, and market positioning.
- Oversee the Corporate marketing and Enterprise marketing budget ensuring efficient budget allocation, resource management, and revenue impact aligned with business growth objectives.
- Establish KPIs, analyzing campaign performance, and optimize strategies to maximize marketing ROI and business impact.
- Execute an annual customer survey to measure the company's Net Promoter Score (NPS) and gather actionable customer insights.
- Develop and manage the MarTech and AdTech strategy for Corporate and Enterprise Marketing, ensuring effective use of platforms and partnerships including LinkedIn, publisher networks, digital advertising networks, Highspot, HubSpot, Responsive.io, Salesforce, and Hive.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, ensuring clear role definition, accountability, and alignment with strategic business objectives while effectively delegating responsibilities to directors and managers.
Product Marketing & Sales Enablement
- Manage development of, production, and ongoing maintenance of all content related to the Data Axle Corporate brand.
- Manage development of, production, and ongoing maintenance of all content related to all products, solutions, and services for Enterprise specific offerings.
- Support production of Nonprofit product, solution, and thought leadership content.
- Articulate product positioning for business and technical audiences and support Sales in effectively positioning Data Axle solutions against competitive offerings.
- Lead competitive intelligence and market research initiatives to inform product positioning, sales strategies, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Develop a companywide Go-to-Market process and lead GTM initiatives related to corporate product/solution/services releases that involve one or more business units.
- Support new business pursuits and customer retention with the management of security, privacy, and compliance requests.
- Own the content, systems, processes, and team required for the delivery of professional, expert level RFP/RFI responses for the Enterprise and LMS Business Units in support of new business pursuits and customer retention. Support the nonprofit division with content and guidance as needed.
- Support new business pursuits through the development of customized content in the form of PowerPoint presentations, custom proposals, digital engagement centers, newsletters, and other content as needed.
- Lead the strategy, implementation, and adoption of sales enablement platforms such as Highspot and Responsive.io to optimize content accessibility, sales presentations, and engagement tracking.
- Provide strategy and support for the effective use of a companywide project management application (Hive) to drive efficiencies across teams involved in multi-product solution sales (e.g. Agency, other)
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of associates, ensuring they effectively support complex solution selling to enterprise level customers and prospects through the development, optimization, and strategic use of content.
