Qualifications
Certain required qualifications may be obtained within 90 days of hire, depending on the
position’s needs and organizational requirements.
- 18+ years old.
- Must available early mornings, afternoons, and/or weekends.
- Ability to work effectively with members, staff and volunteers.
- YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor Certification (YSLI)
- American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (CPRO) – Must be renewed
annually - American Red Cross First Aid certification
- American Red Cross Emergency Oxygen Administration
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or other languages.
