System Administrator
Description
The role in brief:
You'll be responsible for supporting your employer's computer systems by installing, designing, and protecting them. This includes working on local area networks, network segments, Internet systems, and wide area networks.
Your responsibilities
- Implementation and high-level performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission-critical enterprise systems.
- Serve as a technical expert in system administration for complex operating systems. Investigate and analyze the feasibility of system requirements and develop system specifications. Identify methods and solutions.
- Installation, configuration, and upgrading of servers and related hardware and software in LAN, WAN, and stand-alone environments.
- Investigation, diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair or resolution of system, hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
Requirements
Your qualification
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar environment.
- Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Computer Application.
- MCSE/MCSA certification and application-level certification related to Exchange or Storage will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
- Must have good communication skills, both verbal and oral, and be a self-starter.

- Knowledge of network hardware infrastructure, diagnosis, and troubleshooting abilities.
