Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in managing LAMP-based environments and automation. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud and on-premise infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environments for optimal performance and uptime.
  • Monitor infrastructure using tools like Zabbix or Nagios, and respond to incidents proactively.
  • Develop and implement security measures using ModSecurity, fail2ban, and firewall configurations.
  • Automate routine server-side tasks using Bash or Python scripting.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Postfix mail servers.
  • Handle MySQL database management, including crash recovery and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Dev, BI, Infra) to streamline deployment and monitoring.
  • Implement and manage configuration management tools like Ansible, SaltStack, or Chef.
  • Ensure 24x7 system availability and implement disaster recovery strategies.
  • Evaluate and integrate DevOps tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong expertise in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
  • Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting for automation.
  • Experience with Postfix, Zabbix, Nagios, and firewall/IPTables configuration.
  • Familiarity with Ansible, SaltStack, or Chef.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and cloud/on-prem infrastructure.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
