We are looking for a talented and dynamic System Administrator Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, strong technical knowledge, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to take ownership while collaborating with teams around the globe.

As part of our modern IT team, you will support, scale, and secure our technology infrastructure, while also helping drive AI integration and process automation across internal systems and workflows.


As a System Administrator Specialist you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and high-performing local and cloud networks, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, VLANs, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Manage system administration across mixed OS environments, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Oversee identity and access management, SSO, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Google Workspace.
  • Ensure data redundancy, disaster recovery protocols, and routine backup schedules.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex Tier 2/3 technical issues, including root-cause analysis and long-term resolution.
  • Provide professional, clear, and service-oriented support to end users, ensuring strong communication and SLA compliance.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including hardware provisioning, software deployment, and access permissions.
  • Document system configurations, network topology, standard operating procedures, and end-user guides.
  • Identify opportunities to implement AI tools, automated agents, and AI-powered workflows to improve IT support and internal processes.
  • Support secure adoption, governance, and provisioning of AI platforms within the company ecosystem.
  • Build scripts and automations for repetitive system maintenance and administrative tasks.
  • Implement and manage security measures, including endpoint protection, identity monitoring, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Conduct regular security audits and threat assessments to identify and reduce risks.
  • Support compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2 and GDPR, including maintaining relevant security documentation.
  • Act as a key point of contact for security incident response and remediation.

Requirements

System Administrator Specialist requires:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or an advanced technical support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing protocols, firewalls, and network security standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, GCP/AWS, MDM solutions, and virtualized environments.
  • Working proficiency with modern AI tools, prompt engineering, and scripting/automation languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Proven ability to independently diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex multi-system infrastructure issues.
  • Strong understanding of identity/access management, SSO, endpoint protection, and cloud-based IT environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical users with patience and professionalism.
  • Strong documentation skills and a highly service-oriented approach.
  • Ownership, accountability, proactivity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.


Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Industry certifications: CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
  • Experience integrating local AI instances and API-driven workflows.
  • Background in IT security compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
