System Administrator / SysOps Engineer
Summary
System Administrator / SysOps Engineer who deploys and maintains Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters, manages GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines, and handles monitoring, automation, security, and disaster recovery for containerized infrastructure. On-site role based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila.
Salary: ₱50,000 – ₱70,000 per month
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled System Administrator / SysOps Engineer with strong experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab to manage and maintain containerized infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system reliability, automation, application deployment, and infrastructure operations in a modern DevOps environment.
Responsibilities:
Deploy, manage, and maintain Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
Configure and maintain GitLab repositories, GitLab Runners, and CI/CD pipelines.
Automate application deployment and infrastructure operations.
Monitor system performance, container health, and cluster availability.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and container-related issues.
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Maintain system security, access controls, and environment configurations.
Collaborate with development teams for deployment and release management.
Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Security & Compliance: Configure access controls, manage firewalls/security groups, and implement security policies and regular software patching.
Incident Response: Act as the first line of defense during outages, troubleshoot system errors, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Backup & Disaster Recovery: Design and test disaster recovery strategies to ensure data protection and fault tolerance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a System Administrator, SysOps Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container management.
Experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Strong knowledge of GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Linux server administration.
Familiarity with container networking, storage, and orchestration.
Experience with scripting and automation.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
