System Analyst

Experience: 6-9 Years
Role: System Analyst

Key Skills:
Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, and release management processes.

Good understanding of system integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Familiarity with container platforms (RedHat OCP), Linux OS, Splunk

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive Technical / System Requirements Lifecycle from abstract product vision till detailed system / technical requirements

· Support Functional Business Analyst(FBA) in translating high level business requirements into tangible, detailed technical requirements for developers, in collaboration with platform architects.

· Deliver Functional Specifications Document (FSD) and Master Design Specifications (MDS) that details system interactions, process flows, functional and non-functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for user stories

· Support Development and Testing by collaborating with developers and testers by providing the first level of technical clarifications during development and/or testing, review and improve SIT test cases, and conduct Defects Triage together with relevant stakeholders

· Document final technical artefacts and ensuring complete traceability to original technical and business requirements

· Drive the implementation of agreed functional capability by collaborating with developers.

· Refine / elaborate backend stories related to specific systems / platforms based on the agreed technical requirements, ensuring sufficient details and correct acceptance criteria so that developers can estimate and work with them.

· Partner with Solution / Domain Architects to ensure detailed design specifications complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards

· Provide status update related to technical delivery to Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) and Project Manager (PM)

· Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT),performance / load testing

· Escalate issues that impact project schedule on a timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions

Requirements:

Education:

· Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science, engineering or similar domain

· Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous

Essential:

· Self-driven technical professional who can determine and action on next steps with minimal instruction or supervision.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess end-to-end system impacts.

· Ability to communicate complex topics in an understandable way using a level of detail and terms appropriate to the situation and audience

· 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or equivalent role.

· Proven track record in producing Functional Specifications Document (FSD) and Master Design Specifications (MDS)

· Experience in translating complex business needs into clear system requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution specifications.

· Experience in conducting stakeholder workshops, FSD walkthroughs, and impact assessments.

· Ability to collaborate with solution architects, development teams, and business stakeholders to design scalable and supportable solutions.

· Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, analytics platforms, or data-driven applications.

· Knowledge of trade data is advantageous

· Experience in banking industry preferred
