System Engineer
Role:
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, RHEL, VMware, storage, firewall, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Perform system monitoring, patching, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning activities.
- Support infrastructure security hardening, access management, and compliance with IT governance standards.
- Administer enterprise hardware including Dell servers, Cisco switches, FortiGate firewalls, and Dell EMC storage.
- Support virtualization and container platforms such as VMware, OpenShift, and Kubernetes environments.
- Prepare infrastructure documentation, SOPs, reports, and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills:
- Strong experience in Windows Server, Red Hat Linux (RHEL), VMware, and enterprise infrastructure support.
- Hands-on knowledge of backup/recovery tools, firewalls, monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus), and patch management.
- Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, and ITIL processes (Incident & Change Management).
- Good troubleshooting, vendor coordination, documentation, and infrastructure support capabilities.
