System Engineer - Contract
Summary
Contract System Engineer at PTT Digital in Bangkok who manages and supports Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows servers, writes automation scripts in Bash/Python/PowerShell, deploys containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes, and monitors/troubleshoots infrastructure using Grafana and Prometheus.
Key responsibility :
Manage and support server systems, Linux (e.g., Ubuntu) and Windows Server.
Develop scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate operational tasks.
Deploy and support applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues, and support incident resolution. (Grafana and Prometheus)
Maintain infrastructure documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ONBOARDING, design and improve scalable and reliable infrastructure.
Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of proven experience as a System Engineer / Infra Support Engineer.
Proficient in Bash scripting, PowerShell, and Python.
Experience in networking, container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes), or cloud-native applications.
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills in both Thai and English
