Description

At Capgemini Engineering, we are at the forefront of the automotive revolution — engineering the intelligent, connected, and autonomous vehicles of tomorrow. In Morocco, our growing engineering hub brings together talented and passionate engineers working on some of the most complex and impactful challenges in the industry. Here, you won't just test systems — you'll help shape the future of mobility.

As a Systems Test Engineer specialising in Autonomous Driving, you will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing system-level verification and validation activities that ensure safe and reliable autonomous driving functions. You will work at the heart of a multidisciplinary team, bridging the gap between engineering development and real-world performance.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Defining and maintaining comprehensive system-level validation strategies covering simulation, SIL, HIL, vehicle integration, and on-road testing to verify autonomous driving functionalities under real-world operational conditions.
  • Developing detailed verification and validation plans by translating system requirements into measurable test objectives, acceptance criteria, and release readiness metrics, ensuring full requirements traceability.
  • Coordinating and executing complex validation campaigns across simulation environments, laboratory platforms, prototype vehicles, and controlled proving grounds, ensuring consistent and high-quality test evidence.
  • Analysing system behaviour using sensor recordings, vehicle telemetry, software logs, and diagnostic data to evaluate performance, identify anomalies, and characterise system limitations across diverse operating conditions.
  • Supporting multidisciplinary root cause investigations and continuously improving validation methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality practices to drive engineering excellence across development cycles.

Your Profile

We are looking for a curious, rigorous, and collaborative engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment and is passionate about autonomous driving technology.

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive software or system validation, ADAS, autonomous driving, or embedded systems, with hands-on exposure to SIL/HIL testing environments and tools such as CARLA, vTESTstudio, or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Solid knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, CAN FD, SOME/IP, UDS, DoIP), functional safety standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF), and development standards such as ASPICE and AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams including Systems Engineering, Software, Perception, Safety, and Vehicle Integration, with fluency in English required.

Required certifications/languages:

    • Fluent English (written and spoken) — required
