Responsibilities and Tasks
- Learn complex computer systems used in tracking and controlling manufacturing processes.
- Gain familiarization with manufacturing business processes.
- Help in configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting a wide range of computer-integrated processes.
- Assist in designing, building, testing, and deploying custom solutions to extend our manufacturing systems’ capabilities.
- Work with key business stakeholders to provide process analytics.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance our systems.
- Support new product introduction.
- Prepare and maintain application documentation.
- A minimum of a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Services or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience
- A desire to obtain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Moderate experience with computer programming and programming concepts (experience with C# and SQL preferred)
- Familiarity with databases
- A willingness to learn new skills at a rapid pace
- US Citizenship is required
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.
- Strong knowledge of implementation and effective development of helpdesk and IT operations best practices.
- May require the ability to obtain a US security clearance
- No required travel.
