Systems Analyst (m/f/n)

Summary

Analyzes business needs for an EU institution in Warsaw, designs system and data architectures using UML, and documents requirements for complex information systems.

We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst (m/f/n) to join our client's team carrying out a project for one of the EU institutions located in Warsaw.

About the role:

As a Systems Analyst, you will contribute to the definition of the system by analysing business processes and requirements, transforming them into system specifications and architectural models, and documenting Application and Data Architectures using UML and enterprise modelling tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing business processes and requirements.

  • Eliciting, analysing and documenting business processes, capabilities, functional and non-functional requirements, and user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying potential solution options.

  • Designing system and data architectures: Translating business requirements into system specifications and modelling application and data architectures using UML and enterprise modelling tools, including logical data models, use cases, system behaviour, acceptance criteria and UI prototypes in collaboration with UX specialists.

  • Supporting solution design and system lifecycle: Collaborating with architects, developers, testers and product owners to ensure consistent, scalable and secure solutions.

  • Preparing documentation and communicating solutions.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 4 years of proven professional experience in systems analysis, requirements engineering and software design for complex information systems.

  • Expert knowledge of UML and proven experience in modelling Application and Data Architectures, including logical data models, use cases and system specifications.

  • Practical experience with enterprise modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect or equivalent, and strong understanding of software architecture and system integration principles.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments, ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Excellent command of English (minimum C1 level).

  • Rate: 170-180 zł/h netto + VAT.
