Systems Analyst role in Singapore’s public sector to design and develop IT solutions for HDB’s business needs using Java, JavaScript, SQL, and cloud technologies.
(What the role is)
As a Systems Analyst you are part of HDB’s IT Group to drive digital transformation. You will be part of an application development team that will leverage on innovation and technology to enable business excellence. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders in HDB to manage, design and develop systems that support HDB’s wide spectrum of business domains.
(What you will be working on)- Understand HDB’s business processes and work with users to design and develop an end-to-end solution
- Provide advice and assistance to business users in the effective use ofapplication systemand information technology
- Manage the development of the applicationsystemand ensure the project is implementedwithin budget and accordingto schedule
- Design solutions that are of quality and functional to ensure a good user experience
- Monitors the performance of the application and work with relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot any issues surfacedin the production environment
- Work closely with various technical, solution and information architects to ensure the application developed is robustand align with the Enterprise Architecture
- Produce technical documentation for applicationsystems.
- Have a keen interest in IT / programming / system designs
- Good understanding of SDLC
- Experience in application development using the following technologies and programming languages such asMobile, web, object-oriented programming, SQL, Java, JavaScript etc
- Experience/knowledge in Scrum/DevOps concepts
- Experience/knowledge in the various technologies supporting CI/CD such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, etc
- Experience/Knowledge in Cloud,microservices architecture andcontainer technologies such Docker, Kubernetes, etc
- Experience/Knowledge in Java, Javascript, SQL
