Systems Engineer
You will design and implement performance-critical components for a decentralized exchange engine and protocol runtime using Rust C++ or Go. You will build low-latency pipelines for order execution event propagation and state updates while optimizing concurrency scheduling memory layout and I/O paths. You will investigate bottlenecks through profiling tracing and benchmarking and help establish standards for reliable correct and high-assurance distributed execution. Depending on your experience you may also influence system architecture and mentor other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance components in Rust C++ or Go
- Build low-latency pipelines for order execution event propagation and state updates
- Optimize concurrency scheduling memory layout and I/O paths
- Contribute to execution abstractions that may become protocol primitives
- Ensure safety composability and consensus compatibility
- Investigate performance bottlenecks using profiling tracing and benchmarking
- Define standards for reliability correctness and high-assurance distributed execution
- Drive system design decisions and mentor engineers as a senior or principal candidate
Requirements
- Strong experience with Rust C++ Go or another systems programming language
- Understanding of high-performance or distributed systems
- Ability to reason about execution flows concurrency models resource lifecycles and system invariants
- Practical experience profiling CPU memory and synchronization overhead
- Comfort working with critical performance determinism and resilience constraints
- Excellent spoken and written Business English
