We are looking for an experienced Systems Security Engineer to join an exciting opportunity with our client.
Work Arrangement: Remote
Contract Duration: 12–18 Months
Experience: 5+ Years
Seniority: Independent Contributor
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and strengthen the security of enterprise systems, servers, networks, endpoints and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement security hardening, IAM, MFA and privileged access controls.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate security remediation.
- Monitor security logs, investigate alerts and support incident response.
- Maintain security documentation, risk registers and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to implement security best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Security, Infrastructure Security or Cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux security, networking and firewalls.
- Experience with IAM, vulnerability management and security monitoring.
- Understanding of CIS Controls, NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
- Ability to work independently and deliver in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud security experience (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR and security automation.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP or CISM.
