Summary
Handle take-out operations for a seafood restaurant; answer calls, process takeout and delivery orders, assemble and package orders, process payments, and manage cash reconciliation. This is an entry-level food service role focused on customer service and order accuracy.
This position handles take-out for our guests; ensures all take-out guidelines, specifications, quality, and service standards are met. This person must maintain attentive and courteous communication with guests and answer the phone and all questions in a polite manner.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries courteously.
- Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders.
- Assemble and package orders paying attention to packaging techniques to avoid spills, leaks, or damage during transportation.
- Process payments for takeout orders, including cash, credit/debit, and digital payment methods.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and proper reconciliation of sales at the end of each shift.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
