About Legal Aid NSW

We stand beside people when they need it most.

At Legal Aid NSW, fairness isn’t just a legal principle, it shapes everything we do - our culture, our services, our workplace and our decisions.

Since 1979, Legal Aid NSW has provided legal advice, support and representation in criminal, family and civil law, helping people across NSW navigate hardship and complex legal issues. Our work is challenging, but deeply meaningful.

In partnerships with LawAccess NSW, Community Legal Centres and the Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT, we are located throughout the state including our Central Sydney office, 25 regional offices, and satellite and outreach offices.

About the Role

As Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be at the centre of recruitment delivery across Legal Aid NSW, supporting effective recruitment across all portfolios.

You will:

  • Maintain recruitment system workflows
  • Coordinate candidate administration and pre-employment checks
  • Manage campaign documentation and compliance records
  • Produce recruitment reports, dashboards and tracking updates
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Leads and Advisors, hiring managers, panel members and candidates
  • Identify and resolve administrative or process issues that could delay recruitment
  • Help ensure recruitment processes are timely, accurate, compliant and candidate focused

About You

You are a highly organised and service-focused recruitment or HR administrator who enjoys bringing structure, accuracy and momentum to busy processes. You can confidently manage multiple campaigns and competing deadlines while maintaining confidentiality, data quality and attention to detail. You communicate clearly, are comfortable using recruitment or HR systems, and can identify missing information, workflow issues or process gaps before they create delays.
