Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract)

Are you passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities?

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives on building relationships, uncovering top talent, and creating proactive talent pipelines for future growth. In this role, you'll support recruitment across a variety of functions including Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams that help drive our business forward.

This is more than posting jobs and screening resumes. We're looking for someone who enjoys sourcing passive talent, partnering with leaders, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process. If you are naturally curious, proactive, and energized by finding the right person for the right opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid work model, offering the flexibility to collaborate in person while maintaining the work-life balance that comes with remote work.

What You'll Do

Engage in full-cycle recruitment for Shared Services and Operations roles across Canada and the U.S.
Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for Finance, HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations functions.
Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other innovative channels.
Engage and attract passive candidates while building long-term talent communities.
Screen, interview, and assess candidates to identify the best fit for both the role and our culture.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first conversation through offer acceptance.
Provide market insights and recruitment expertise to hiring managers and business leaders.

What You'll Bring

5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
Experience recruiting for mid to senior level roles for Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, IT, Procurement, and Operations.
Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates and building strong talent pipelines.
Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and other sourcing tools.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
A consultative approach and the confidence to influence hiring decisions.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the growth of our organization by helping attract and hire exceptional talent. You'll work alongside a collaborative HR and Talent Acquisition team, partner with leaders across the business, and play a key role in shaping the future workforce of Metro Supply Chain.

If you're a recruiter who loves sourcing, networking, and building pipelines as much as closing searches, we'd love to connect with you.
