Do you enjoy working with young children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive? We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Aide to support our teaching team in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. In this role, you'll help foster children's development through hands-on activities, positive interactions, and daily classroom support while making a meaningful impact in their early learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment.
• Assist with daily classroom activities, lessons, and routines for young children.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and positive interactions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
• Provide individualized care and support, including meals, diapering, toileting, and rest time as needed.
• Monitor children's progress, complete basic classroom documentation, and communicate effectively with the teaching team.
• Step into the Lead Teacher role when needed and contribute to a positive, collaborative classroom culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED, or college coursework from an accredited institution required.
• Must complete 24 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) annually to maintain compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to accurately document and share child development information.
• Knowledge of inclusive early childhood education practices.
• Understanding of child abuse and neglect reporting requirements.
• Commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for every child.
