This position will follow our hybrid work model; we expect the selected candidate to work 3 days a week at our Saint Petersburg, FL, corporate office.
Under limited supervision, uses advanced knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or training to lead others in providing support in specific trading activities within an assigned functional area. Established procedures and prescribed guidelines are provided to perform a variety of tasks requiring some evaluation, originality or ingenuity in making routine decisions. Serves as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues. Extensive contact with internal and external customers is required to identify, research, and resolve problems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leads the work of others and provides training, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced associates.
Monitors rejected trade orders in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Reviews trade problem issues and determines appropriate corrective action.
Contacts internal and external customers to resolve trading problems.
Facilitates error trade corrections.
Resolves trade allocation issues in client accounts and department’s netting account.
Coordinates the weekly Daily Rotation Tasks among the team.
Assists with updating department policies and procedures.
Serves as a backup and communicates to Supervisor and Operations Manager of issues.
Offers additional support in phone queue as volume dictates.
Assists with performing quality control audits for various team functions.
Performs other duties, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.
Knowledge of
Industry regulations related to trading activities.
Investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
Accounting principles and procedures.
Front-end system used in assigned functional area and its relationship with account history.
Fundamental mathematical ability sufficient to accurately and efficiently calculate transactions.

Skill in
Basic analytical skills; identify relationships, draw logical conclusions and interpret results for use in decision-making.

Handling a high volume phone system.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, sufficient to create documents, spreadsheets, and business correspondence.

Work under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
