Team Lead - Power Grid Assets Australia
Purpose of the Role
You are an experienced engineer and people leader who enjoys bringing teams together to deliver great outcomes.
You are highly organised, proactive and collaborative, with a passion for developing people, building team culture and ensuring resources are deployed effectively. You are comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and maintaining visibility of both current and future workload.
You have a technical background in power systems, transmission, distribution, substations, asset management or related infrastructure sectors, and are ready to take the next step in your leadership journey. Strong preference for candidates with a consulting background.
What will your typical day look like?
No two days are the same, but your focus will be on keeping the Australia Power Grid Assets team running efficiently and effectively.
You will:
Connect regularly with team members to support performance, development and wellbeing.
Work with Project Managers to understand current delivery needs and future resource requirements.
Engage with Key Account Managers, bid managers and technical experts to maintain visibility of upcoming opportunities and pipeline demand.
Coordinate resources across projects and proposals to ensure the right people are working on the right opportunities.
Monitor utilisation, workload and capacity, identifying potential risks or gaps before they impact delivery.
Support recruitment activities, onboarding and capability development.
Lead team meetings, facilitate collaboration and help build a positive and engaged team culture.
Work closely with the Head of Power Grid Assets APAC to support workforce planning and operational priorities.
