Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivilent
- At least 2 years full time clerical experience
- Valid Michigan Drivers License
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Behavioral Treatment Plan Review Committee (BTRPC) Support Specialist provides administrative, coordination, and compliance support for the BTPRC and Health and Safety Review Committee (HSRC) across Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne Counties.
- Working closely with Behavioral Health teams, clinical professionals, care coordinators, individuals served, families, and community partners, this role manages committee data, schedules reviews and presentations, records and distribute meeting minutes, secures required consents, and maintains regulatory documentation.
- Under the direction of the Director of IDD Clinical Services, the position ensures timely coordination, accurate reporting, and compliance with requirements related to restrictive and health-related interventions.
- Maintains a comprehensive and complex Microsoft Access database containing records and documentation for Behavioral Health and Autism service units.
- Distributes special consent forms annually - electronically or by mail - to legally responsible persons, including individuals serviced and guardians.
