Tech Delivery Manager (Open System)

Salary: $8,000 – $11,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with PM and Applications TDM/Developers to implement project following SDM5 governance process.

  • Lead and support applications teams, infrastructure team to prepare servers for application installation.

  • Lead and support application teams to prepare the SIT/UAT/Production environment setup, control-M job, R2W, sftp file transfer, Connect Direct, etc

  • Lead and support application teams to install, configure and integrate software packages and programs based on product user guide manual ie. Unisys CTL, BCS CM, SVS and AS400 Core Banking applications.

  • Lead and Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues working with vendors and T&O colleagues from GIPS and TCOE in SIT and RORC in UAT testing.

  • Lead and involve in problem root cause analysis, review issue scenario and/or perform unit testing or issue simulation, where applicable.

  • Able to understand complex and technically challenging system issues

  • Development of process documents following Bank’s standard process ie. SDM5

  • Able to understand user requirements, functional specification and test design documents

  • Make good logical decisions that support resolutions to technical challenges

  • Provide comprehensive support to internal colleagues and vendors

  • Compile timely, comprehensive and accurate documentation and reports as requested

  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the banking industry

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external parties

  • Able and willing to communicate with T&O technical support colleagues, vendors and business users.


Key Requirements

  • You must be the experienced Technical Service Delivery process (ITIL), with good experience in system integration/interfacing.

  • Familiar on Open System Platform ie. Windows and Unix, +AS400 will be a PLUS

  • Minimal 10 years of IT related work experience preferably in Banking environment.

  • IT service delivery project working experience with SDM5 process will be preferred.

  • Core Banking domain knowledge with some Cheque Clearing Payment processing understanding will be a plus.

  • You will typically be assigned to work on specific projects and is expected to support the Application Delivery.

  • Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.

  • You are expected to ensure your work are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.

  • You will be expected to lead and work with the senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that is fit for purpose for your assigned projects. The solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.

  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Graduate from IT Related disciplines.


Technical Skills

  • In-depth Microsoft Windows Servers Platform, Unix/Linux and Desktop PC knowledge

  • ATM Network infrastructure configuration setup

  • MS SQL, Oracle DB, Java, VB, .NET framework

  • Batch script and online transaction processing (OLTP) programming knowledge in payment solution.

  • File transfer protocol such as Connect:Direct (C:D) and Tectia SSH SFTP

  • Cheque clearing processing and Signature verification authentication.
