About the role

  • Hybrid working model (2 days per week from the office in Cracow)

We are looking for an experienced Web Development Engineer to join an international technology team working on large-scale, business-critical web platforms. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of modern web applications used globally, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

You will be involved in the full development lifecycle — from understanding business requirements to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions and supporting production environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop new features and enhance existing functionalities in web applications

  • Identify and fix bugs, ensuring high-quality and stable code

  • Participate in code reviews and promote best development practices

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine user stories

  • Contribute to technical design, documentation, and implementation

  • Support production deployments and ongoing maintenance

  • Work in an Agile, DevOps-oriented environment following CI/CD practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend web development (preferably .NET / C# / ASP.NET)

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and clean code principles

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • .NET Core

    • MS SQL Server

    • IIS

  • Frontend knowledge:

    • HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript, TypeScript

    • Experience with React (Next.js is a plus)

  • Experience working in Agile teams and DevOps environments

  • Understanding of secure coding practices and secure-by-design approach

  • Familiarity with modern build tools (npm, etc.)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

  • Good command of English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

  • Experience with Sitecore CMS or other enterprise CMS platforms

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. VSTS / Azure DevOps)

  • Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform development practices
