Tech License Desk Specialist I

Role description:

The role contributes to improved transparency of technology asset utilisation and supports informed decision-making across Technology, Procurement, Finance, and Risk teams. Support the effective governance, monitoring, and optimization of software licenses and technology assets by maintaining high-quality data, developing reporting insights and ensuring compliance with internal policies and vendor licensing requirements

Role accountabilities:

• Maintain, review, and update data within software asset and license management repositories, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with governance standards.​
• Design, administer and enhance reporting models, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI and Excel to provide insights into license usage, compliance and optimization opportunities.​
• Support the development of structured data models and reporting frameworks that enable consistent monitoring of software asset performance and utilisation.​
• Identify and escalate data quality issues or inconsistencies that may impact reporting integrity or compliance monitoring.
• Support the design and continuous improvement of reporting structures and data models used to track software assets and licensing.​
• Contribute to the development of scalable reporting solutions that support governance, compliance monitoring, and operational decision-making.​
• Provide recommendations to improve data accuracy, reporting efficiency and visibility of technology asset utilisation.
• Maintain the integrity and reliability of software asset reporting and visualisations used by internal stakeholders.​
• Support analysis of software usage and licensing data to identify compliance risks, optimisation opportunities and potential cost efficiencies.​
• Assist in internal compliance reviews and audits relating to software licensing and asset governance.​
• Ensure documentation and record keeping is maintained in line with Arcadis governance standards and policies.​
• Provide reporting and insight support to the Tech License Desk Manager, PortfolioMgmt and Platform teams.​

Qualifications & Experience:

• Over 1+ years of experience in technology or business with a technology focus in procurement, software asset management or contract management​
• Over 3+ year experience in Microsoft Power BI​
• Understand KPI's related to software and asset tracking

• Strong desire to learn and grow and accepts feedback and mentoring in a positive way ​
