Position overview
We are seeking a Tech Solution Architect – AI & Transformation to advise clients on
technology-led transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on the
application of artificial intelligence to enterprise business processes and
operating models.
The role requires a senior technology professional with broad
enterprise technology experience, strong understanding of emerging AI
capabilities, and demonstrated experience in technology implementation and
consulting. The individual will work with business and technology stakeholders
to assess current-state environments, understand business processes and
technology landscapes, identify transformation opportunities, and develop
pragmatic technology and AI-led solutions.
The successful candidate will combine technology expertise, business
acumen, analytical capability and strong client engagement skills. They should
be comfortable operating across business and technology discussions and
translating complex client challenges into clearly defined opportunities and
executable solutions.
Key responsibilities
Client advisory and
current-state assessment
· Lead structured discovery and
assessment engagements across business processes, technology environments,
applications, data and operating models.
· Develop a comprehensive
understanding of client business objectives, operating processes, technology
landscape and strategic priorities.
· Assess existing technology
capabilities, architectural considerations, data availability, integration
landscape and implementation constraints.
· Identify process
inefficiencies, technology gaps, operational challenges and areas of
improvement through stakeholder discussions and structured analysis.
· Develop a fact-based view of
the current state and establish the key areas requiring transformation.
AI and technology
transformation
· Identify and evaluate
opportunities for applying AI, GenAI and emerging technologies to enterprise
business processes.
· Assess the suitability of
AI-based approaches against conventional technology, process redesign and
automation alternatives.
· Develop a practical
understanding of AI capabilities including large language models,
retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, intelligent automation and
AI-enabled workflows.
· Evaluate AI opportunities
across business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, risk, complexity
and implementation requirements.
· Develop transformation
hypotheses and opportunity areas aligned to the client's strategic and
operational priorities.
· Support the development of AI
and technology transformation roadmaps and implementation priorities.
Solution architecture and
solution shaping
· Translate business and
transformation requirements into high-level solution concepts and target-state
architectures.
· Define the key technology,
data, integration, AI and application components required to support proposed
solutions.
· Evaluate architectural options
and articulate relevant technology choices, dependencies and trade-offs.
· Work closely with engineering
and delivery teams to validate feasibility and develop implementation
approaches.
· Contribute to solution
estimates, delivery models, implementation roadmaps and technology proposals.
· Ensure that proposed solutions
are practical, scalable and aligned with the client's existing technology
ecosystem.
Client stakeholder management
· Establish and maintain trusted
relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
· Lead client workshops,
discovery sessions, assessments and solution discussions.
· Engage effectively with
technology leadership, business leadership, operations teams, architects and
engineering stakeholders.
· Communicate complex technology
and AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Present findings,
recommendations, solution options and transformation priorities to senior
stakeholders.
· Demonstrate the ability to
constructively challenge assumptions and facilitate informed client
decision-making.
Consulting and opportunity
development
· Support clients in identifying
and prioritizing technology and AI transformation opportunities.
· Translate identified business
challenges into well-defined use cases and solution opportunities.
· Contribute to account strategy,
opportunity development, proposals, RFP responses and client presentations.
· Develop solution narratives and
propositions that connect client priorities with relevant technology and AI
capabilities.
· Identify opportunities for
further consulting, assessment and implementation engagements based on client
needs.
· Collaborate with sales,
consulting, architecture and engineering teams to progress opportunities from
initial discovery through solution definition.
Required experience and qualifications
· 10+ years of relevant
experience in technology consulting, enterprise technology, solution
architecture, digital transformation or technology implementation, with
significant experience working with Banking and Financial Services (BFS)
clients.
· Demonstrated experience working
with enterprise clients and complex technology environments.
· Strong understanding of Banking
and Financial Services business processes, operating models and technology
environments, with the ability to assess client challenges and identify
technology and AI-led transformation opportunities across relevant BFS functions.
· Strong understanding of
enterprise technology domains including application architecture, integration,
APIs, cloud platforms, data platforms and enterprise systems.
· Prior experience in technology
implementation or delivery, with sufficient technical depth to engage
effectively with architects, engineers and technology leadership.
· Strong working knowledge of AI
and GenAI concepts and their application within enterprise environments.
· Experience in assessing,
designing or implementing AI-enabled solutions is preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to conduct
current-state assessments and develop technology transformation
recommendations.
· Experience working directly
with senior business and technology stakeholders.
· Strong analytical,
problem-solving and structured thinking capabilities.
