Technical Analyst- Reporting & Analytics

As a Technical Analyst – Reporting & Analytics, you will play a hands‑on role in maintaining, enhancing, and optimising analytics ETL processes and SSRS reports. You will contribute to the design, performance tuning, and delivery of reporting solutions across banking systems, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business needs.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Reporting & Analytics Operations

• Maintain, support, and continuously improve analytics ETL processes and SSRS reports.
• Perform performance tuning of complex SQL scripts to optimise reporting efficiency.
• Conduct system analysis, local code development, and unit testing.
• Provide test environment support and package preparation.
• Collaborate with team managers and users to deliver reporting solutions that meet operational requirements.

Domain Expertise

• Provide hands‑on expertise in SQL Server Database, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Manage and optimise reporting workflows using IIS and analytics ETL processes.
• Apply strong understanding of banking system data structures to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support integration of reporting solutions with operational and regulatory requirements.

Governance & Assurance

• Ensure reporting solutions adhere to banking standards and compliance requirements.
• Document risks, issues, and provide recommendations for optimisation.
• Support governance routines by maintaining reporting artefacts and technical documentation.

Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

• Analyse report performance and implement improvements for accuracy and visualisation quality.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or bugs in dashboards and databases.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and ETL workflows.

Experience

• You have 3–7 years of experience in technical analysis, reporting, or analytics roles.
• You have banking industry experience.
• You have experience supporting ETL, reporting, and SQL‑based solutions.

Technical Expertise

• You have strong SQL skills and experience with SSRS and SSIS.
• You have knowledge of IIS and analytics ETL processes.
• You have understanding of banking system data structures.
• You have optional skills in PowerShell scripting, SQL database maintenance, Temenos Transact DW, and SAMA reporting.
• You have proven ability to design, maintain, and optimise reporting and analytics solutions in banking environments.
