Job Description
- Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud;
- Automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts and participates in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions;
- Participate in the specification, setup and run Proof of Concepts and demonstrations of cloud solutions;
- Administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms;
- Provide pre-sales technical support for IT systems and security solutions;
- Prepare technical proposals, solution designs and supporting documentation;
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions for partners and end users;
- Support the Product Manager in promoting solutions and developing sales opportunities;
- Provide technical support for Proof of Concept (POC) planning, execution and evaluation;
- Obtain and maintain relevant technical certifications to enhance product knowledge and technical capabilities; and
- Prepare and submit weekly reports covering technical activities, customer engagements, pre-sales activities, sales opportunities, project progress, POC status and outstanding issues.
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Studies or equivalent
- At least 1 year of work experience in IT related field, preferably in networking or systems
- Experience with Network and Security products (Eg. Firewalls, Routers and Switches)
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to different customer working environments
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Be dynamic, organised, systematic and self-motivated
- Possess good communication and presentation skills
- Be willing to work extended hours, including outside normal office hours, when required
Compensation: Salary package includes commission.
