Technical Consultant/SME - AEC Design Technology

Technical consultant/SME supporting architecture, engineering and construction clients across Australia with Autodesk technologies (Revit, Forma) and third-party tools like Bluebeam — delivering technical support, implementation, training and presales demos. Ideally based in Sydney or Brisbane, with domestic and some international travel.
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year
About the role
We are seeking an experienced technical allrounder from the AEC industry with a deep understanding of Autodesk Technology solutions (Revit & Forma Solutions) to work closely with our GM and deliver on customer requirements across the design technology business unit. The candidate would ideally be based in Sydney or Brisbane as the two current growth corridors. The successful applicant will be assigned Architecture, Engineering and Construction clients throughout Australia and be responsible for managing their technical support and training requirements.
Key responsibilities
Work closely with assigned Nexsys clients to support their technical requirements around the use of Autodesk technology and third-party applications (Bluebeam, Environment for Revit, etc) across the AEC industry
Identify and execute on assigned Nexsys client's implementation and training requirements
Work with the presales division to demonstrate the benefits of the tools to prospective clients
Demonstrate solutions at trade shows and industry events
About you
Autodesk Revit & Forma technology experience within the AEC discipline
Willingness to travel throughout Australia, with some international travel for training and conferences
Solid understanding of Architectural, Engineering and Construction workflows and building lifecycle requirements
Technical mind with an aptitude for problem-solving and an eye for detail
Ability to articulately impart knowledge to others through product education and presentations
Motivated, self-starter with good interpersonal skills
Right to work permanently in Australia
